America’s Test Kitchen is seeking a talented marketing copywriter to help us create a community of confident cooks of all ages and skill levels. You’ll work with our Associate Creative Director and teams across the company in this “remote for now, flexible in the future” position.

Your Day to Day

  • Create engaging copy, both short form (micro copy for member sites, paid search ads, email subject lines, product paywalls, and our online shop) and long form (cookbook and membership promotions).

  • Communicate the unique value of America’s Test Kitchen and our associated brands: Cook’s Illustrated, Cook’s Country, and the ATK Online Cooking School.

  • Drive conversion for all of our products: member sites, print and digital magazines and cookbooks, and broadcast and streaming content.

  • Collaborate with our marketing and eCommerce divisions, editorial teams, and design group, ensuring a consistent voice, message, and tone across channels.

  • Infuse SEO best practices into copy and draw on data analysis for targeted messaging.

  • As a member of our Creative Team of 30+ people, continue to develop your skills and share your ideas and inspiration.

Your Qualifications

  • You have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years copywriting experience. (This is a full-time staff position; we’re not looking for part-time or freelance talent at this time.)

  • You excel at weaving customer insights, compelling storytelling, and unique brand value into effective copy.

  • You’re comfortable asking questions to clarify goals in order to write great copy quickly.

  • You have experience writing copy of varying lengths and detail for results driven campaigns.

  • You’re detail oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.

  • You have links to writing samples and/or a portfolio of your work.
