Role Description:

The Global Travel and Events Associate is responsible for leading and monitoring the Company’s corporate travel/meeting and events programs. This includes preferred travel vendors, systems and services, expense report vendors and partners, as well as company credit card/p-card programs. The ideal candidate should be savvy in T&E and Finance.


Operational Activities(50%) :

  • Oversee day-to-day T&E Operations. For example: Review and approve meeting/event and Swag requests based on budget availability
    Liaise all M&E requests to a third party via ServiceNow intake form ensuring all contracting, purchasing tasks to payment PO are completed.

  • Global credit card program including P-Card, corporate, and cross-border cards as well as related rebates and reporting.

  • Define travel and event reporting metrics and dashboards for key stakeholders and compliance.

  • Develop a thorough knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures ensuring a high level of customer service for key stakeholders and executives.

Strategic Activities(50%):

  • Set strategy for prioritizing and executing Travel related subcategories (including airlines, hotels, car rental, meetings and events, and SWAG) to deliver value for the business

  • Act as liaison between suppliers and Dropbox business units. Lead Periodic Business Review and Partner meetings with a focus to drive accountability and improve supplier performance and negotiate remediations with suppliers, when necessary.

  • Proactively implement changes to improve and enhance the travel and event management program.


  • 5+ years of experience in the corporate travel/finance administration environment; travel industry experience preferred management of travel booking tool (ex. TripActions), expensing system (ex. Concur), and online credit card systems.
    Prior experience managing contracts and working closely with a Corporate Travel Management (CMT)

  • Deliver reporting and analysis to support executives and accounting teams in managing travel and expense budgets, partner savings, compliance reporting, and contribute to diverse supplier reporting.

  • Manage highly confidential and sensitive information

  • Manage projects related to process improvements and innovation in travel, event, and SWAG spaces to encourage the adoption of best practices and policy compliance.

  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with preferred travel and third party meeting management vendors

  • Maintain and simplify training and resources-related travel management-related processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business/Marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience
