Job summary:


The Director of Human Resources Operations is an HR leadership position providing operational leadership, process consistency, and has overall responsibility for continuously advancing HR’s operating and technology practices.
HR Operations oversees the day-to-day systems and processes related to departmental operational practices. This includes HR technology, workplace policies, compliance, reporting and analytics, and immigration. This position requires a leader focused on operational excellence and ongoing process improvement. S/he will be responsible for delivering value-added solutions that are innovative, customer-centric, consistent and compliant, meeting and exceeding the needs of its diverse stakeholders.

This role managers a team to include; Sr Mgr. HRIS, Sr. Immigration Mgr., and operational coordinators and specialists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Sets the overall strategy for HR Operations to scale with the business. This includes opportunities to automate processes, to find efficiencies for scale, and to integrate/optimize systems

  • Manages and oversees daily operations of the HR Operations team including the end-to-end employee and candidate lifecycle, HRIS transactions, process and workstreams, vendor management and leading projects

  • Evaluates and implements HR operational processes and procedures with an eye towards continuous improvement and positive employee experience

  • Ensures compliance and consistency of key HR policies and practices across locations, ensuring Paycor’s compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations.

  • Partners with HR leadership to develop and update strategic priorities, capabilities and measures of success

  • In collaboration with Sr. Manager HRIS, drive strategy and enhancements for Paycor’s HR technology platform and vendor partners.

  • Provides input into system gaps and enhanced functionality to improve HR efficiency across functions

  • Responsible to ensure proper record-keeping for documents related to employment and performance, and data governance

  • Develop metrics and reporting that monitor the performance of HR Operations and that deliver insights to managers on Associate demographics, retention, performance, and so on.

  • Oversee and support immigration process and compliance

  • Supports the HR strategy and manages key strategic initiatives, projects, and programs from planning to execution within Paycor’s HR Operations team

Requirements



  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in human resources, with emphasis in HR operations and project management

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Detail oriented, a focus on continuous improvement and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a timely and client centered manner

  • Proven track record for experience leading change, creating process improvements and managing projects collaboratively

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships

  • Demonstrated experience in scaling an HR Operations function for growth
