- Zix | AppRiver is looking for a Customer Care Specialist to join our Best in Class Customer Care team.
- The Customer Care specialist position bring you in on the ground floor of our Sales Operations team, one of the most dynamic and visible points in a successful, rapidly growing company.
- You’ll be taking and making Zix-AppRiver customer calls, working with different departments and functional areas, and all with the goal of creating a positive experience for customers.
What you will be doing:
Be Phenomenal while providing support to Zix AppRiver ‘s internal sales teams and external customers.
Multi-tasking with exceptional energy, focus, and patience. You’ll find that this experience teaches the most fundamental tenet of business: How to treat customers well and keep them for the long term.
Manage telephone, instant messaging and ticket queues so that client issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
Develop a functional and technical understanding of Zix AppRiver products with a working knowledge of complementary products and services.
Assist our sales teams to help potential customers assess their information technology needs and then determine whether Zix AppRiver’s solutions are right for them.
What experience and skills we need you to have:
Ideal candidate will have a college degree and/or technical certification, or equivalent
Meaningful sales operations or end-user support experience is a plus
We really want to see a passion for technology
Knowledge of Office 365
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Windows products
Familiarity with common mail clients such as MS Outlook
Understanding of mail flow through the internet, DNS and Mail protocols such as IMAP, POP3 and SMTP and associated logs

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
Must be detailed in documenting information and practice good follow-through techniques
The Sales Department normally takes calls between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Must be flexible to work various shifts as needed – including remote weekend/holiday on-call availability. This position includes periods of telephone-intensive work and may require sitting for long periods of time.
During emergency situations, i.e. natural disasters this position will be expected to work remotely and perform all duties from remote location.
