Content Operations Manager
We’re looking for a remote Content Operations Manager to support our team.
The ideal candidate will creatively solve problems by analyzing, developing, and rebuilding existing workflows in our content scheduling and delivery timelines to establish more structured processes.
They’ll be driving growth by working closely with Producers, Executive Producers, and Chief Content Officer to identify areas of the business that require organizational assistance.
They’ll be constantly learning about new social media and competitor trends across all platforms.
They’ll be radically candid in speaking the language of the team they are working with at the moment, whether in the Content, Marketing, Business Development, or Data departments and teams.
They’ll own the process for developing, implementing, and managing operations that are scalable and efficient across all teams.
Here at Brainjolt, our sole mission is to battle boredom. Intrinsically, you understand how the internet is rapidly growing and evolving. You’ll spend many of your days communicating cross-departmentally forming schedules that achieve our content production and development goals.
Other days, be heads down figuring out the best way to improve team operations. While all processes don’t fall solely on your shoulders, you will be a critical part of it. If this doesn’t sound terrifying, you’ve likely been here before. And we can’t wait to support what you’ll do here next…
Communicate cross-departmentally with a heavy emphasis on content development, production and post production
Analyze, develop, and, where necessary, rebuild existing workflows and timelines with an emphasis on developing better, more structured processes
Speak the language of the people you are working with, from Content and Marketing to Business Development and Data departments
Reporting to the Chief Content Officer, work closely with Producers, Executive Producers, and other stakeholders as assigned to identify areas of the business that require organizational deadline assistance
Develop, implement and manage operations that are scalable and efficient, working with Content and Marketing teams
Stay up to date on social media and competitor trends across all platforms and mediums
Help with administrative tasks across the creative team ensuring that they have what they need, when they need it, to follow process and meet their deadlines
You should be ready to:
Communicate effectively, regardless of method ranging from Zoom to slack
Lead projects and multiple teams across multiple project software systems such as Asana (our current tool)
Modify and build operations, from bottom-up where necessary
Explore new trends in video creation and delivery with an endless appetite for new possibilities
Execute efficiently, effectively and quickly with a positive, here-to-help, can-do attitude
