In this position you will be responsible for supporting Coding Operations leadership to create learning and training content at project and clinical coding subject level for Risk Adjustment Coding department. The purpose and goal are to achieve coding accuracy set forth by client SLA’s as well as improve overall coding performance for onshore/offshore coding and auditing staff. Provides decision support to coding management team members with reporting, project level analysis, staff level analysis.
Reconciliation of Invoices monthly
Maintain internal coding policies and procedures to ensure compliance, coding consistency and up to date coding practices.
Assist with management of coding KPI of Coding department
Conduct research and gather/request information (internal and external) relevant to given assignment.
Distribution of standard documents and reports (hardcopy and electronic), including keeping an organized file for record-keeping.
Ability to multi-task and handle heavy workload while keeping organized. Able to switch between tasks as needed depending on urgency.
Create new accounts, as need. Project Access and removal. Password resets. Audit rate adjustments (high during Onboarding)
Verify coder credentials are in good standing with AAPC/AHIMA. Notify Ciox coder/auditors and vendor management of upcoming renewal date.
Assist with maintaining dept. shared drive resource
Add/Remove staff to corporate account & webinar access. Ordering ICD-10 books for supervisors (yearly).
Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of staff
Execution and reconciliation of reporting to support business
Manage/Update department information/metrics as needed
Additional duties as assigned and needed
